Grönskär has acquired Edvin Larssons Mekaniska

Grant Thornton was entrusted by the fourth-generation owners of Edvin Larssons Mekaniska ("ELMAB") to assist in the sale of a majority stake to Grönskär Gruppen, a privately-owned industrial group passionate about the long-term development of Swedish industry. The transaction was completed in January 2023, and the former main owner will continue as CEO and minority owner.

About Edvin Larssons Mekaniska

ELMAB was founded in 1946 in Dala-Järna and is a leading manufacturer of hydraulic cylinders, which are essential components in construction and forestry machinery. In recent years, the company has experienced significant growth, and the new ownership structure sees great potential for the future.

We at ELMAB have always taken pride in being a family business that offers our customers high-quality products and contributes to the development of Dalarna. We still see ourselves as a family business, firmly rooted in the community. But thanks to the new ownership structure, we have entirely new opportunities to take ELMAB to the next level.
