Financial advisor to BUBS Godis

Orkla has acquired BUBS Godis

Grant Thornton advised the owners of BUBS Godis ("BUBS") on the sale to Orkla Confectionery & Snacks, a transaction that was completed in February 2023. The founders are passing the baton, but the former CEO will remain as business area manager within Orkla, and the other employees will continue with production in Jönköping.

About BUBS Godis

BUBS was founded in Jönköping in 1992 by the Lindström family and has grown from small-scale candy production to producing well-known vegan candy in a modern factory with advanced and automated equipment.

We had previous experiences with Grant Thornton, who delivered in a good way. Stefan Wiklund and his team worked quickly and efficiently with a high degree of availability and close dialogue, which was a prerequisite for this deal.
